Woo hoo....... we have snow here in essex and unfortunately we have had to close the school due to lack of staff :look:

We managed to stay open yesterday by putting classes together but it snowed again over night and many staff couldn't even get out of their own roads this morning. Many of our pupils come from rural areas and are bused in, it just wasn't safe - the bus company said they wouldnt run the buses!

So, its a day off for me and 1300 others, i'm sure all the pupils are very unhappy about it

And, its still snowing, let the snowman building begin :kana:

Typical, Customer wants buckets on a day like today. Warned workmates if I didnt return look out for Fag smoking snow-person out in Yard.

I am forming a sit in at home, I will stop this demonstrational protest, once the snow comes! If not, I may have to call the local policeman rude names, over turn a riot van...............hang on, not a student, ah well!

Still coming down in Kent, so deep here had to walk about a mile down to the local sorting office to get my plants as there's no post, thank god they were still alive. Its around 16 inches deep and a few times walking to the local shops I went in up past my knees lol love it.

Here in bournemouth ive got more snow on my shoulders than the floor has, and they said wednesday was sposed to be our day   i think we have our own bubble protecting here, as the news says the whole countrys under a blanket of white stuff, unless were the corner of the blanket which has folded back over

It's not snowing :( Yesterday we had a little bit of snow, walking home from nursery and he loved the snow flakes falling. So much so that he kept trying to catch them with his tongue lol

Oh dear just seen the local weather forecast for Kent and it says in the next 24 hours another 10inches will fall right where I live lol. So tomorrow we will have around 2 foot and we're already running out of food lol.

you're all really lucky. we've only had about 5", and i don't think we're getting any more. :grr: although school was closed today and is closed again tomorrow, so it's not all bad.

cheers :good:
