Some gifts I made for the family

This is a bow knife. Typically used for cutting bread. I made this one out of mahogany. I slit my finger open while oiling it.

I made about 9 of these trivets out of mahogany and cherry.

These are oven squirrels. Used for pulling trays out of a an oven.

The one on the right is white oak and the one on the left is red oak and mahogany. First time laminating two type of wood together. Pretty happy with the result.
 
No band saw. I would like to get one someday. Would really make it all much faster. I use a coping saw for the shapes.

For the bread knife I was able to use a jigsaw.
I have a table saw, miter saw, router, and lots of hand tools. Planer and jointer as well.
 
Well, Santa once again failed to come through with the new Ford Bronco, but what the heck! MERRY CHRISTMAS to all my TFF buddies. May your day be blessed and your upcoming year be all you hope.
