Show Off Your Tank!

Twisted Vallis? Vallisneria Americana? Can often indeed go a little down hill. Can be pretty hard to keep looking healthy. Straight Vallis, Vallisneria Spiralis is a better choice usually.

What kind of light are you keeping them under and for how long? Also, are you heavily stocked with fish? If not then maybe you should look into dosing some kind of general plant fertiliser.

Flourecent light, 5-6 hours a day.
10 neon tetts and 4 platties.

Thanks

What power light? How old is the tube? I would look into dosing some ferts mate. Especially if you plan on having more aswell.

I'm gonna putting meds in the water quite soon so I'll wait until thats over before I add any fetiliser.
I'll hunt you down on the forum when I'm ready to get some fertiliser and change the light.

Thanks,

Was off of eBay mate. paid about £12. Alot cheaper than proper 'aquarium 3d backgrounds'

You could make your own by sticking bits of rocks to a piece of perspex and then sticking it to the back panel. Make sure you use aquarium sealant though.

Here is my tank not as good as others but still tinkering.

I am loving the dark backrounds on people's tanks as well. I am going to find a black background for my larger tanks eventually...
