Wow, very nice fish people! I'm blown away, Talking Catfish, Green & Red Plecos, huge Green Terrors, unbelievable colored Rainbows...........this is why I love fish.

(The color is a bit washed out but I did take these phtos less than 1 hour after they were introduced to the tank and the lights had just come on about 10 minutes before.)

I have no idea what a Ram's breeder tubes look like. The best I can do is confirm they are the same or different.............

Of course it makes a difference, two females might be okay but 2 males would be a def. no.

I said "I can confirm they are the same," just not what what that same sex is. Have some respect you little brat

Anyway, good news: They are both males and I successfully picked out a def. female of similar size from the same PetSmart!! Zach now has a confirmed pair in his tank and the male is playfully chasing the female around a bit. Not nearly as violently as the other male was chasing him.

I'll either return the male that's currently in my tank or I'll get him a girlfriend too.

The funny thing is that I did look for the breeding tubes to help determine the sex but what actually stood out the most was the size of the black, front dorsal fin parts. They were the same size as the clear strands on this female, while the 2 we already had were noticably longer than the strands that follow them.

awesome. I vote for a gf. haha I really love these guys. I liked my apistogrammas a lot but they were still small. The rams are so chunky and cute.
