FYI as you may have seen in my journal it'll peck at live SPS and damage them, so be warned if you ever plan on getting any acropora species etc.
if you're going just softies and LPS you'll be fine.
it does seem to be a very common thing for a shrimp to shed its skin when introduced to a new aquarium, i wonder if its some sort of reaction to new water conditions?

Now if I can get him to eat. Yesterday was his first full day in my tank though. I'm not surprised he stayed hidden in the acro skeleton. I'll try again Sat or Sun.
my cleaner shrimp shed there skin all the time and no matter how many times i see it, at first glance i always think I have lost them, great shrimp, i would not have a tank without them.
my bad. Somehow I do something and then think hey that would be a great shot or video and then later I'm thinking crap I shoulda cleaned the glass...lol.
