Not too shabby, bet those cardinals are chuffed.

Yes, being a cardinal tetra in that tank would be nice. The grass is stunning. The glosso may need a trim soon. It can grow fast.

plants love a good trim so chaces will be that it comes back thicker and it will only take a few weeks again. just cut the leaves off and thin it out if you dont want to replant it all, a bit easier!

its actually Glossostigma elatinoides. much faster growing foreground plant. infact it's an absal;ute pain. :crazy:

the little mounds/bump's are little riccia stones that have just gone out of control. it's starting to spread through the glooso which is what i wanted.

im still learning these little forground plants. havent had bright enough lights to even attempt a carpet and now i have cories in my tank so i doubt ill get to do a carpet.
 
i was the same, maybe one day you can attempt a forground plant.

once you upgrade lighting to the point were you can grow anything, then the fun starts :rolleyes: well it did for me.
