ok, i got bored and took my black background off. what do you reckon? if it works i'll install some kind of lighting system from behind.

Personally, I prefer the black background. I've never been fond of tanks without backgrounds, but each to their own.

I don't know, for me, it's hard to say. With the pale background, it looks more ADA to me. The fish and plants, however, are better discerned with the black background. You could have a pink background with yellow polka dots and you'd still have a lovely tank. Honestly, it's your call, I like both.

I prefer it without, it brings out the plants more which is needed in an iwagumi.

mmm...now im well confused. no really, i'm actualy liking it without.

i went to buy another 20 cardinals today and no lfs had any so it's going to be next week now.

the glosso needs a damn good trim which it will get this weekend.im starting to lose sight of the smaller rocks too, but i kinda like seeing just that little top bit sticking out.

it allways scares me coming home after being away all week wondering what i might be coming home to. see there no one home in the week and my mother comes around once in the week just to feed the fish, but if everything on timers and the co2 pumping out a regular 30ppm im not too worried.it gets 3ml monday morning, then 3 ml wednesday by mother, then im home friday, but i have the day off tomorow so im a day early....bonus! no work till monday

If the light is always like that, leave it without! It looks like a sunset or dawn, which gives it a real landscape feel...

its my manipulation of the colour tone in photoshop. slighty oout of balance.i did it real quick. dont make me pacnic like that arron
