Right, I Seriously Need Your Help!

Your biggest concern is live rock. This is basically going to be the best part of your natural filtration.
A basic list would be something like this...
Coral sand
Refractometer (better than hydrometers as more accurate)
Marine salt - I use D-D H2Ocean Pro+ which is great and has very good magnesium levels
At least 2 buckets
Fish nets
25L food safe containers for RO water
Heater
Thermometer - I use a digital one
Circulation pumps
Test kits - Salifert are a good make
Algae magnet
Blade glass cleaner for stubborn coraline algae deposits
Towels and cloths for general cleaning
Gauntlets/rubber gloves - some marine hitch hikers are stingy things

Maybe research to see if anyone recommends any particular modifications to pumps etc.

Get some good books too! I have an extensive list of reading material if you want ideas :D

I have already read it seffie.
Over and over again.
Still find it amusing.
Sisters at war lol.

Also if you take your time with it, buy say 1-2 things a month or w.e then you can do it cheap.
Oh the joys of fishkeeping.

I have decided to go for a "plug and play" to start with.
Been advised by lots to go for this route for my first time.
You could get the Red Sea Max?
There around £600-1000 I think.
And EVERYONE recommeneds them.

That's my dream tank...keep your eyes peeled as you never know what will be popping up next from me

Have a look through various classified ads as you can sometimes pick them up for a bargain where folk are upgrading to something bigger :D

 No worries Seffie! I can't stand the silver version as I think it looks way too plasticy. Mine is in black and will be mostly hidded (cabinet wise) by the sofa so I am not too worried
