€200 for a book is criminal unless that book was written by hand and fully illustrated by Rembrandt himself. Kind of like charging us $241 for a single Tylenol at the hospital and $147 for the nurse to bring it in a paper cup. My mother was director of nurses at that hospital and showed me the $11 invoice for the 1,000 count bottle of Tylenol they use.

Any chance that you could download that book to your device? My wife does that and it's usually a lot cheaper than a physical copy.

On a positive note, FedEx and UPS has been pretty reliable for us lately. My last package was delivered a day earlier than expected by UPS and I have a package due tomorrow via FedEx and they are booking it across the country according to tracking information. I'll be truly impressed if they deliver it on time.

Just found it in another website and it’s €89 is this criminal? @Flushable Pets

For a book, I think so. But that's just my opinion. Let's face it, it's just paper, ink and a little glue. Not exactly expensive stuff.

@Fish4dawin Look up the cost of college textbooks in the USA. Many are hundreds of dollars a piece. I don't know how some people sleep at night.

Is that all of the books bought together or for one book? I've just searched it up on google and it said that most US students spent an average of $415 on college books.

It’s Heiko Bleher’s book that’s why it’s so expensive.

If you don’t know he discovered the Rainbow snakehead and firehead tetra.

That's probably just out of pocket per semester. Based on personal experience, I'd be amazed if that was total, all said and done. I went to the University of Alaska Fairbanks, but I was forced to drop out due to the absurd cost of tuition and supplies. My first year I bought all of my books for the year used and I spent well over $1,000 for just a few classes. I would have to have loved to have gotten a degree, but I would have ended up spending hundreds of thousands of dollars getting it and I would have been in debt my whole life.

During this pandemic and all the lock downs I got depressed and called the suicide hotline. I must have gotten the wrong number because I put on hold. Then I was transferred to a number in Pakistan. When I told them I was depressed and might commit suicide they got all excited and asked me if I could drive a truck...... :hatchetchase:

What?????

First of all, you should not think of committing suicide. That is not a thing that you should do and you are a credit to a community, your family and your pets and tanks. Second of all, suicide is a bad thing to do and you end up leaving people behind who you loved. It is a million times better to not commit suicide.
