Proxo - 240L Journal

I didn't mean bigger than him, I ment bigger than Apisto type fish. Maybe a group of Keyholes or Bolivians would be a good choice?!

More ferns and anubias would be a good addition mate.

Yeah, i've had smaller fish beat him into a corner before too :crazy: only time he'll fight back is when he gets pushed back so much there's no where for him to go, never seen him actually attack a fish just defend.

So smaller pair of something could work but would also be risky, when the GT was real young i had keyholes in there and they got beat up a little so i moved them but that was prob the females as 1 was real aggressive.

Bit of a hard choice really uh? but i'm real tempted to try something smaller along with the dithers as it would be nice if it worked.

Will be slowly planting this beast as the 90L isn't really finished :lol:, prob pointless asking this as you'll prob say ex1200 but what filter would you hook upto a 55g?

Trip to the LFS delayed so had to release the kribensis back into the tank, felt bad enough netting him for so long i couldn't go any longer.
Terror once again is been pushed around instantly from releasing him (nothing serious though).

Interesting to watch really, krib goes for terror so shark goes for krib, maybe my terror and shark are a pair? :lol:

He doesn't even protect fry mate, once both females dropped into the same pit and helped each other :lol:.
Come to think of it, he's scared of brineshrimp too :unsure: hahaaa!

Krib is back in the net now as they was ripping each other to pieces.

Starting to think something like a pair of keyholes would work perfectly now, or something similair in aggression?

Bolivians
Keyholes
Rainbows

Even a pair or trio of Nannacara or Laetacara?!

Scared of brineshrimp? LMFAO!!!! :rofl:

LOL yeah, i fed brineshrimp once and almost ended up with a terror on the floor he paniced so much he ended up hiding under powerhead so no shrimp came close :blink: - had to feed very small amounts for the females after that.

I'm so proud of myself, took the krib back today and came home with NOTHING and yes there was a big selection in today :hyper:.
1 point for proxo for not rushing things :lol:

Stocking idea;
1x green terror aka giant cardinal, male.
1x rainbow shark, male.
1x BN pleco, male (eventually the BN from my 90L)
?x of the following; - group of 2 or 1 big group?
  • Bleeding heart tetra
  • Rosy tetra
  • Black widow tetra - not sure if these will work?
  • Red phantom tetra - not sure if these will work?
  • Columbian Tetra
Then we'll see about a pair of something smaller :hey:

Not much to update but here's 2 half decent pictures of the green terror, his 'lump' on the head has gone down alot since the move but hopefully it'll come back when he's settled in more;
