Can I Had A Black Ghost Knifefish?

Had a customer today who had insisted on getting a BGK a few weeks back, I said no so they went elsewhere and got one, but besides the point. They got it 3 weeks ago at 2.5-3" long and over night it ate all their Ember tetras... which of course led to a growth spurt and now, three or four weeks later, it has grown very quickly to 4-4.5" and has eaten all their neon tetras, their copper harlequins and their rummynose.

They wanted me to have the BGK ;) but I didn't want it. Will teach them to listen I hope. It has eaten about £50 worth of tetras, rasbora and shrimp in 4 weeks... and its not even 5" long, you are considering putting one in your tank with a similar stocking... it WILL eat most of your fish before long.

Well had the BGK nearly a month now and no fish eaten. Does not hide through the day feed it flake in the morning then before i turn lights of at night i freed it frozen foods "daphnia/cyclops/artemia" difffrent every night. all other fish happy the mollys are given birth slowly and the guppys too just got 20-30 fry today from them, they in breeding net now. BGK does not even go for the fry when born before i transfer them to nets its the other fish. Hopefully next month the 450L tank will arrive for the BGK.

After everything that was said I am very surprised that you still got one. I watched the video of the BGK trying for the siphon on YouTube, and had actually been considering getting one, but, HAHAHAHA, NO! Not worth the fish loss in my opinion. I have a happy tank without introducing predators. I'm surprised it has yet to go into destruction mode, but good luck.

Dear Lord sweet baby cheezits, that is the scariest freakin' knife fish I've EVER seen, the freakiness of that fish will haunt my dreams. O.O
