Proxo - 240L Journal

eeek! Hope it's ok! I bet a little creaking is normal ;)

Also I've added some new pictures of the Bolivian I got off you so check em out

Just reporting in that i'm still alive, filled tank today with an overdose of prime to kill off the bleach.
Now it's empty again for the sand and scape to refill it so it'll be even heavier :fun:

Rosy tetra was something else i was recommended.

Soooo if I hear a great crash at some point today I know who's house has just fallen down?

Don't say them things, i'm already scared .

The second bag of unipac black sand i bought seems to be slightly different in colour and a smaller grain even though the bag is exact same
But it looks pretty nice mixed together and more natural so fail turned into a bonus? :fun:.

PICTURES SOON™ :D

hehe, I can't help myself.

Rumour has it Unipac have changed the Limpopo so you've maybe got a bag of the old and a bag of the new ;) I gather the new stuff is darker :dunno:

The smaller grained one seems to be more very dark misty grey with a very fine blue tint, goes well with the rocks tbh.
Think i prefer it over the darker bag of sand, mixes together well though.

Sand, scape, water is in and the floor is holding - tomorrow is 100% water change as i didn't clean the sand :fun:
Then filter and fish moved in :)

They're on opposite sides of the same room. The 160 is against the wall. It's a semi-detached house so that one is right in the middle of the structure. The 180 is side on to the wall. It seems to be fine so far. I just think of it as three guys the size of my dad standing upstairs with a larger surface area.

What a day but it's ended with a nice chillax glass of hennessy infront of the fish tank while watching transporter :good:
Here's the pictures as promised, basicually just the hardscape as i'm lacking plants for the 240L as most go towards 90L but will get there eventually.

Before we start just want to mention that the krib in the net is only there as it's been rehomed very soon and i know some people are against green terrors in 55g tanks but this one isn't growing more then 6inch and i've had him for a good 3year.

The 90L holding terry the green terror with super aggressive krib in net;

lol How ya ever going to watch tv? Nice socks. Nice Wood. Been saying that a lot lately. :good:

Nice mate. Really nice!!

Never really saw a close up of Terry, he is super nice!! A pair of something bigger that stays low would go well if you ask me, something like a pair of Cryptoheros type fish. And a shoal of 12 Columbian Red Fin Tetra's would look fantastic!!

The scape is excellent too, you have skills my friend. Its a nice balance. :good:

Thanking you all :good:, who needs to watch tv when the tank is bigger  .
The terror seems happy, never seen him swim around so much since his 2 girlfriends passed on.
Will look into that idea minnters, problem is the GT is so wimpy most of my stocking gets moved on to protect him - i just need to find a pair of wimps

Plan was to spend the rest of my budget on fish and plants but the filter is so loud i might have to replace it so i can get some sleep at night :grr:.
