Cyano won't be a problem as there won't be enough light but melting macros? I suppose it's a toss up between refugium or dosing. Oh well plentyof time to consider it.
BTW nemo do you get extra skimate from dosing this carbon source? I think I am gonna have to put a drain on my skimmer anyway so it won't be a big problem.

I never had a cyano problem and everyone else i personally know who also doses never has ever had a cyano problem, but it's worth mentioning just in case.

I get a TON of skimmate... Gotta empty a few times a week generally and it's not a small cup. I decided to just use my fuge as a coral frag/sump monster/rehabilitation center.
