Out Of The Tidal Pool

BigC have you had a look at the SCWD {Switching Current Water Director} they just use the flow from the sump pump return to switch the water direction :good: , you can get them in ¾ and 1inch it could be a much cheaper alternative to the Oceans Motions for you if you could use it some how :dunno: ????
Regards john, o

Nice tank build. Dunno why those caulk/grout tools never occurred to me to use for sealing an aquarium... Love the tip.

I totally agree with the VorTech. Great to see a low-power alternative. Will totally pay for itself in a matter of a year compared to an OM setup. I'm also not a fan of the SCWD devices for the aforementioned reliability reasons.

I've just finished tacking, squaring, taping and sealing the Weir Box. I didn't want to waste a silicone nozzle as the tank itself requires a larger fillet.

I am now currently sealing up the main aquarium, wish me luck

Thanks guys,
Well she's all sealed up now and I'm taking a break due to the silicone fumes cutting the eyes outta me
I'm off to Dublin now (Tomorrow morning actually) for a few days taking in the Eric Clapton concert whilst down there) That should give the silicone plenty of time to cure and seal, So I'll post some more pics upon my return.
I'm hoping to get the Weir Box in and seal the Bulkheads. Then fit the Weir Comb and Bracing Bars. After that I'll do a little internal plumbing and await the new stand.
