I can't see any problem with adding the LR from your biorb to the new tank.
Your fish and inverts will need acclimaising the same as if they were new, you could do it in a bucket
Might I suggest you start your own journal, then people can help you more. Don't forget to add pictures once you start

so I can only assume that Dracula didn't want to give up his cave and he got stung
which is why I suspect the leathers etc were not showing even one little polyp, the water appeared to be trickling in from one side and being taken out the other and when I say a trickle, I really mean a trickle!
and to top it off, the dotty-back is £25!!! (i paid £10 to have him reserved, i get it back though if he doesnt make it god forbid. and the toadstool was £15!!!! i was like holy @!$^ BARGAIN!! so i have got that reserved for £5 too)
