That's a good price Truck, they are £31 in our lfs

Ben, OMG, not sure I am ready for that journey yet

Thinking, might sell the juwel 180, buy a bigger tank, transfer from the 550 and then sell the 550
or
move the contents of the 550 into the juwel 180 (udate the lighting) and sell the 550

Oh I have no idea what I am going to do - just going to sit back and see what happens  Got to clean out the 180 first, not looking forward to that job!

Shall I come round one day this week and give you a hand, I'll bring the :drink:

Nice Trod, I like to zoas and ricordeas grouped together, it was Jennybugs tank that me start to do this as I added the zoas.

Don't stress, not much you can actually do, stressfull enough as it is.

Seffie, I am presuming you are now on Easter holidays, and you did say you were doing a rescape anyway.
Good luck with whichever route you decide to take, the 180 would temp give you more space though!!

:good:

I'm a bit hesitant in posting this as Trod did not have a good night last night, will leave her to post later. BUT, I have just got to share....................my big toadstool is sulking, I think he may of got a whack from the frogspawn last night, he is totally closed up, clowns are not amused!

BUT now my clowns are now taking an interest in Bill the Nem whoo hoo..............maybe, just maybe........

Will try and get a picture

Ok, back now, none the worse for my little adventure  the first aiptaisia imploded when the solidoring iron hit it and made me jump! the next one fizzed nicely in a very satisfactory manner  so we will see, will the b****y things come back

Here is a picture of Bill the Nem with the bigger mama clownfish starting to investigate - sorry for the quality of the picture, I just couldn't get a steady one of her - the Nem is not bleaching, it's just my awful photo

Morning from hell

Got up this morning, turned tank lights on, the water was rather cloudy and Ben was nowhere to be seen, had look around then I saw him, he had managed to get himself stuck in my powerhead  not a pretty sight, I turned it off straight away but alas it was too late, he was too badly damaged.
I checked the water stats and all ok and slowly the water is clearing.
Then noticed a clown was missing, he had jumped over the back weir, the one with the protein skimmer in, so I took it out and promptly dropped it on the floor, water everywhere and a protein skimmer in many parts.

The day can only get better I hope :-(
Feeling pretty fed up at the moment

Keeping fingers crossed seffie hopefully they will host :good:

Blimey you have had a rough morning

at least the nem didn't nuke your tank :good:
things can only get better

Rob

i've heard lots of stories of nems (and sea hares) going into powerheads.
are they attracted to them in some way? (flow/electricity) or is it just unlucky?

Rob

Thank goodness for that, I was not sure after you dropped everything. :good:

That is one hell of a stressfull event, as if reef keeping does not have enough of those already.

Shall you have another nem, or are you happy to be less stressed for a little while.

Whichever decision you make, I hope the next few weeks are less eventful, apart from of course your Birthday and The Present that you have been oh so patient with.

No, I'm not going to get another one, I shall enjoy seffie's and watch hers progress :good:

Birthday, present oh yes I had almost forgotten about that rather large thing in my dining room covered in sheets  only 10 days to go :yahoo:

 Not exactly sure how you could forget about something that large and covered in sheets!!

10 days not long though now. Speaking of which its other halfs on 22nd and aunties on 16th aaagggghhhh need to do some shopping besides in lfs me thinks (Unless I buy andrew a coral of his choice, now that is an idea)
