No Going Back Now.

I to have suffered a leak from a faulty return valve on my airline, this dumped about 5 ltrs straight into my extension cable, this happened at 1am, thank god I was feeling ill and couldnt figure out why the bathroom light wasnt working!
On another topic they were discussing great invention, someone mentioned about a alarm to warn you when you bucket is about to overfill when doing syphon water changes. You can get these alarms which are sold as Blind Kitchen aids (you put them in a cup and they beep when th water reaches the top etc) I was wondering if there is anything the other way round? Something that ommits an alarm when the water level drops? Just an idea... I dont suppose any of us want to go through the leak panic again!

Oh don't worry Vic, I have a suitable replacement sitting in QT right now :)

Ok here are some recent pic's. Only one per post, I still can not resize them properly

I added some baserock a few weeks ago which seems to be colouring up nicely.

More pics on the way.

Thanks

Thanks Tigerissey, Yes the battle against the green hair algea is drawing to an end, its been a lot of hard work but well worth it. Yes I do tend to watch the tank more than the TV now :D

Looking good :good:
Maybe a little more height on the left would help, just a thought.

Those mushrooms are nice and unusual

Thanks Trod, I think you are right mate, I may even lose the cave altogether yet, will see what it looks like when it colours up first, The whole reef will be higher eventually.

The guy that sold them to me said mushrooms although he could be wrong i guess, Its the first time have came accross them, they were cheap aswell, £39.50 for a good size piece of LR with 15 heads on it :good:

I also picked up some Jasmim Polyps a few weeks ago, they add some nice movement to the tank and are spreading like crazy.
