As sure as I am typing this here tonight….. I once saw a wardrobe door open and close whilst my parents were out one evening, which had my babysitter screaming with fear…. (obviously when I was little.)

I’ve never since seen anything in my life to even suggest ghostly presences … but are they there??....

This week….. have you ever had an unexplained encounter with the supernatural or spiritual world??…. Please tell…..

yeah... my grandmother bought me a set of curtains, and while they were up i used to see her standing on the stairs looking into my room just watching over me.. however whwn i got new curtains i only saw her once in my dreams (she said goodbye) and i havent seen her since, although i have heard thumps and creaks from the loft and the loft door unlatches sometimes.. the curtains are stored up there... they exist alright but you've gotta know how to talk to them

i also have had the sleep entity a few times... i did not pray as i'm not christian... i begged to lucifer for it to go away... apart from that i can sense their presence and in some cases talk to them (if they have had an EXTREMELY violent death this helps as a lot of energy is left behind for them to appear on)

Yes I have. My old cat Spike, his ghost is in my house. Try to imagine being in my situation one night when I was a little younger, going to the loo(Private I know, ) and obviously it was dark, ish.
The wall behind the bathroom door was Spikes favourite place to scratch so sat there and I hear this scratching noise, you know me sat in the dark I'm looking round thinking it's probably mice or something but no mice. So you know I try to hurry up so I can turn the light on and when I do, there are pieces of wallpaper on the floor and more scratches in the wall... Now this creeped me out so I ran back to my bedroom without even turning the light off and didn't sleep the rest of the night.

I get on with him now and he even tries to comfort me when I'm upset.

Saw a man walk through my room when I lived at my parents house some years ago. He was really tall with longish blond curly hair and had a long royal blue cloak on. I didn't feel scared or anything for some reason. I sat up in bed and looked at the clock so I was sure I wasn't dreaming. It was 4.15am. Took me by surprise! Haven't seen anything since.

Back when I was around 13 my mother had a cleaning job visiting various old peoples houses, one day with me being off school she took me with her down to this late 1800s farmhouse in the more rural part of the county. The owners were out so it was just me and her, looking around the garden and being a usual 13 y/o I found the remains of the old pig shed and went for a look inside. It was pitch black apart from the glistens of light through the holes in the roof, after standing there for a minute trying to examine the place the door slammed shut sending me into a crazed panic.

After getting out of there panting like a dog, I noticed a thick fog had covered the area. I don't like old buildings, they always seem to give the feeling that someone doesn't want you there.

My Mother also had an experience on the stairway inside the house, a feeling of someone standing directly behind you. She gave that house job up after.

I have had quite a few ghostly experiences. Some have freaked me out, some have helped me become a better person.

The first main one was driving home from a day out in Blackpool. There was four of us in the car, one was fast asleep but the remaining 3 (including myself) all saw the same thing. We were coming down a winding hill on the A59 (anyone from my area will know it as Blubberhouses) Suddenly we saw a figure stood in the middle of the road. I slammed on the brakes. I couldn't stop in time and as we drew level we saw the look of shock on the figures face and her hands came up to her face .... we drove straight through her.

I've also seen a horse and rider on the York-Harrogate road. They say it's Dick Turpin but who can say for sure ...?

The others are family things so I'll skirt around the edges. The night my grandmother died I woke up in the early hours to the sound of music. My Gran had bought me a musical doll as a child and it was playing it's lullaby to itself. The room smelled of her perfume too. She has visited me regularily ever since and I find it comforting.
One of my Grandad's died before I was born. I was very ill back in 2005 and was rushed to hospital in an ambulance. I stopped breathing (apparently). All I remember is a feeling of floating downwards and then hands in my back and being told to go back by this Grandad and then him pushing me. My Mum said I shot down the bed like I'd been shoved and started breathing again.

My Mum died the following year. Every family member had to replace light bulbs that night. My Dad also lost his car keys. After searching for hours, retracing steps (including a dog walk) they were found on the floor of the car - so what I hear you say ... my Dad has one of those cars with the safety feature that doesn't allow you to lock it in anyway than with the keys. The car doors were all locked ...

And the most recent ... Halloween last year. I woke up in the middle of the night with the bedroom door wide open - I'd closed it before going to bed - the dog (who sleeps in her bed next to me) was missing. She was found cowering behind the bathroom door shaking like a leaf and refused point blank to come back to bed!! Wierd wasn't the word

So there you go ... sorry it's so long but you did ask lol. There's lots of other stories if you want to hear them let me know

One of my dogs, Lucky, was extremely ill and could not get better so we had her put down, and exactly a year later on that night, I was getting a glass of water (late at night) I looked round the door, and BOOM. There she was, staring at me.

I've only ever experienced one really spooky thing.

When I was about 12 our dog, Wags, started growling at one particular spot in the living room; hackles up, the whole lot. I know it was about ten past nine in the evening, as that was the time one of the Concorde flights used to go over us, and we wondered if the sonics from that had some relation to it.

Years and years later (about 10 or 15, as far as I can remember), long after Wags had passed away, another dog, Freya, did exactly the same thing, at exactly the same spot, at exactly the same time of night, but Concorde had long since stopped flying that route ????

No supernatural stuff for me thanks, real life is hard enough to sort through.

My cats would stare at walls. Never understood why. Then I had kids, and orbs would show up in pictures of the kids. When we moved into our place here in st.louis, we were unpacking and i noticed my cat staring into the basement from the stairs. So I took a picture and there was an orb in the picture i took. nothing weird has happened though.

Someone/something left something monsterous in our bathroom toilet this morning, and as I said to my wife, it wasn't me!

Ghost, most definately.....only explanation.
