Got a sump plan down on paper but not happy with it yet so any input is welcom, all dimentions are on there. PM me for a skb and/or jpg if you want to play around with it. flow return and chambers can be in any order.

Good plan. You might want to be prepared to stick a foam pad in the bubble wall nearest the skimmer outlet area just in case all the foam that's gonna happen there skips through the bubble walls. Otherwise looks great, can't wait to see it come together.

I think I have finalised the tank tower. Fuge on the top then shelf, water change and top-off. Ballasts can go on the top so not to heat tanks. Big gap above WC tank for the addition of salt, and small below to turn the ball valve to fill the sump. A big gap above the Fuge so I can clean it and for the light. I only have 1 x 20mm outlet on the Fuge might make it 2 and have the second come down to a shallow frag tank on the shelf. This I’m to finalize. Also trying to work-out the switching controls that will have a panel on the tower some where.

Update of the plumbing diagram to show new sump layout. Also moved drain from the middel chamber to the first.

Looks good. Just make sure that the pump you use to supply the fuge is capable of at least 2 meters of head, prefferably 3 to be able to push to the top there :)

You put so much doubt in my mind I have to go a check the pump. It’s rated at 2500lph with a max head of 2.5m so I'm thinking I might get 300-600lph flow through the Fuge witch I believe to be ideal! Thanks again for all the help with this project, good to have fresh eyes at it as I've been planning so long sometimes I don't see the obvious potential faults.

Still working on the light rack, switching consol and the full system sketch-up diagram. Will keep the thread up-to-date so much as possible..

Yup, always good for fresh eyes, but sounds like you've got a good plan there as usual Matt :)

Thanks Ski.

Found a few more faults while looking a the scale sketch-up design to day. one the high of the SW tank is to low for it to drain into the sump with ease. Also the first section of the sump I feel is too small at only 100mm so I'm gont to make it bigger prob 150-170mm then make the return area smallere. the return pump and fuge pump can fit side by side so I have about 227mm of wasted space. might have to rething alot of it. Well back to the drawing board.

I read it twice over and I finally got it
This going to be one hell of a system when its up and running!Goodluck on it :good:

Yeah it is. Matt, what probe holder are you talking about?

I'm making one out of acrylic to be welded onto one of the baffels but done know witch one.

Some updated diagrams, starting to take shape. I'm now thinging of stains and colours for the finish.
