Jebus man, NASA's got nothin on your system. Prepare for orbit

How that diagram equates to this I'll never know:

Hey Matt.
Whats the wife think of all that going on. Spotted some baby trappings about I suppose shes too busy to notice you turning the house into an automated aquarium.
When can we come and visit the new SEAWORLD franchise.
Following with interest.

Many thanks for all of your continued interest in my set-up.

NASA, your right don’t have anything on me!

My system is an automated set-up as far as day to day is concerned however some of the equipment is not fully automatic because this leaves too much room for something to go wrong. I have looked into float valves/sensors for the RO top-up reservoir and the water change tank but if they got stuck on/off this could lead to an overflow/under top-off. To stop this I would have to employ two (or three) float valves/sensors for each vessel. Some might also think 3 pumps for the returns and equipment is overkill. However in one pump goes/breaks/blows there are two others backing it up, same with the overflows. If one is to get blocked then the other is more than capable that supporting the whole load.

The Girlfriend (Fiancée as she is now) is good really. Sometimes she gets a bit annoyed when I come in and check the tank before saying hello to her, but on the whole she good. Does care for the fish like pets more than I would like because I cannot swap sell livestock as I would like.

The updates should be coming soon. A lot of the equipment is set-up however it’s not fully on line. The De-nitrater is still maturing. The Calcium reactor is plumbed in however I need to flush it through then set up the controller for it. The water change tank is all running however the Fuge tank needs tweaking, still a lot of cyno build-up properly because of the low Ca and Alk. The sump in general needs sorting: The temperature controller needs the mod doing on it and moving into the tower. The auto top-off pump need moving into the tower, then I can sort out all the wire for which I have some conduit ready.

Not only does your stuff look better than what NASA puts up there, your aquarium does not pepper the atmosphere with billions in mistakes ;) ;)

A small update as I spent the night trying to sort the sump out.

Many thanks for everyone support and help through my time with this hobby however the time has come where my child and job are takeing to much time to be able to take care of a full reef tank. This setup will be sold and a 40 gallon tropical tank put in its place. My passion for the hobby has not died and I will be back but not for some time.

It's been fun..............

See you on the other side.........................................................
