They seem to be TT, altho I've one survivor who seems to be thriving now. Got some white pearls coming today all being well! Hopefully they'll be ok in the new harder water in the tank.

They sound marvelous mama, do you have a thread for pics of your little beauties?
I saw one of my kuhli loaches, they're adorable. He was sifting about in the sand like a little grub.

I bought kuhli loaches and now have 9. I picked up some otos today to combat algae. Pics will come one day....
I asked the bloke for shrimp pellets ( meaning pellets of shrimp for the kuhlis ) and he gave me shrimp pellets ( pellets designed for shrimp ) which was annoying but the cherries are loving the new brand. :D S'pose I had the last laugh.
The otos are trained to eat algae wafers too which is great because I don't have to worry about feeding them.

Here are pics I promised ages ago:
An FTS

An oto on a rock:

They seem to be going well and have eaten all my diatoms :D
Rees a runner my amazon sword has deployed:

Cute huh?
After a recent battle with ich I lost a few rummynose so I will get a few more in future. The kuhlis are going well, they always come out to say g'day at night.
Heres my baby tank:

Cherries are breeding too

Heres my land tank:

Currently houses a rhinocerous beetle larvae which is due to go adult any week now.
Here's my axolotl tank: ( should arrive this week hopefully, the axolotls that is )

Here are the feeder fish it currently holds:

An ID on these would be much appreciated! :)

Lovely tanks, especially like the axolotl one. Are those perhaps juvenile rosy barbs?

Great pics, TT! Sorry you lost some of your fish to ich.
Looking forward to seeing your axolotl when it arrives.

My niece is trying to get a black axolotl as her daughter loves Toothless in Train your Dragon and thinks they look similar! lol

That's funny Mamashack, when I get one in the future I'd also like a black one and to name it Toothless! :p

Thanks ninj, those were my initial thoughts as well. It's difficult to find pictures of juvenile rosy barb pics on the net though.

Toothless is by far the most common name I've seen given to an axolotl  I was shocked to find out that the creators of the film did in fact not base the toothless character of an axolotl.

Got a call from my dealer today, said the axolotls have been shipped to him. When they arrive he wants to keep them in QT for a couple days just in case. The suspense is killing me.
By the way, I'm in the market for name suggestions for my axies as I'm fresh out of ideas bar toothless. :p

Over the months I have never quite been able to sustain a shrimp colony in my 5 gal. :dunno: Instead of buying new shrimp every few months I decided it would be better to buy some fish that would live a little longer hopefully.
So yesterday I went to the LFS to have a look at their male bettas, they were very nice but not quite what I was looking for. So as I was browsing through the aisles I found 3 beautiful female bettas. They were about 2-3 cm each compared to the males 6. So I took all three and added them to the tank. They weren't fighting at the store so hopefully I won't have any issues at home. If they do fight I can move the nasty one to a seperate tank.
One of them has stripes and grey red fins and the other 2 are dark grey with red fins and are smaller.
I'll attach some pics later on. :)

You mean you added 3 female bettas to a 5 gallon / 20 litre tank? .....

Yes, sororities need a minimum of 10 heavily planted gallons and 5 bettas. I'd suggest you return 2 and keep 1 of them :)
