My New Seashell 60X18X24 Wdh

It is definitely some sort of Ludwigia, but the leaves look a little small for Ludwigia Repens. I may be wrong though.

How does your Sagittaria get on in your tank? Spotted some from the same place i got this lot at a very cheap price for 25 little plants, going to get some and scatter them along the front of my tank, then thats about me done for a while, until i get fed up and get rid of the stuff that doesnt grow very well :D

The price is excellent. I may indulge in some other bits from them in a week or two. Just need to decide what to get and where to put it once the others grow a little.

They thrive and are forever sending out runners. If you do get some don't make the mistake i made and plant them to close together or they will end up an ugly tangled mess.

Loving the tank mate, should look excellent when the new stuff fills out.
My only question would be, how attached are you to the moss ball?

edit:you want to be careful, or the mods will move this to the planted journals.

hehe, not overly attached! It was going to go into my fry tank when i actually have some fry in it! Looks a little out of place doesnt it :D

IMO yes. however it's your tank.
I personally put them up there with blue gravel & fairy castles (i've had to carefully explain to my 6 yr old why they're not going into our tank)

lols :D I dont think they are as bad as the castles and sponge bob square pants things :D The hold quite a bit of food for fry so once my corys get randy again it will be going into the fry tank :D

Added 4 more panda corys today, they were scattered around my lfs tank which i thought was a little mean, so i asked the guy to get them all for me :D Happily joining my other 2 and buzzing around already :D

How much Tizer? I think Panda's are great, always wanted them and now i have 3 i want another 20. lol.

Not bad at £4 a fish really. Especially as they're a good size. I paid £10 for 3 and they're about 2cm.

Awesome looking tank thus far, interested in any future changes

absolute brilliant set up here really really love it

what a bargain the tank was but the effort involved in making it a nice home for your fish was awesome

Love it :good:

Thanks!

Hemianthus Callitrichoides wasnt doing well, kept finding lots in my power heads, so i've chucked it into my 90 litre, not sure it will last without CO2 though.

Added another 3 clown loaches today to bring them up to 9, hopefully they will feel a little more brave now and venture out more.

Some of the last trading post plants are doing really well, the Egeria Densa has grown twice the lenght it was when i got it. Nothing seems to be dying off yet and some of the plants have been uprooted by the fish and i've seen some good root growth on them before replanting. So for now, i dont feel like ripping any out. Updated pic later! Running very low on ferts now, going to have to look into something this week, the dry ferts look like the best plan.

Edit: bleh, EI Started kit ordered, cheers LP for the link in the other thread!
