My £5.99 plant order from Last Trading Post came through this morning, not a bad little selection really! Although it appears i may have some Amazon swords in there there that really dont do very well in my tank!

I'm pretty useless with plants, i'll have to take them out later and get some pics up to ID before i plant. If anyone can spot anything from inside the package feel free to let me know!! Any advice on how to replant some of the clipings would help too! ta!

i like guessing games
left bag
left side-some sort of narrow leaved Hygrophilia
middle-baccopa monneri maybe
right side- egeria densa

right bag left side-plant similar to E.Densa but begins with V. Can never remember it's name

plus a few swords.Probably wrong about them all

Which clippings mate ?

The red stemmed on the left with green narrowish leaves are the clippings im not too sure about, im sure i just plant them in the substrate and they will grow roots...not much else you can do with them at a guess :D

Like the video.....those rams are nice and fat!

Looks like a good deal on the plants. Some very good root growth on the swords.

I'm very impressed with mine too. A few bent and broken stems, but I just replanted them and hopefully the bent ends will right themselves in time.

Swords never do well in my tank either, but they're impressive when new!

Plants in!

Bellend wanted to get himself in on a picture:

I've ditched the Amazon swords to make space, boshed them into my 90 litre.

If anyone can help ID the plants i'd really appreciate it, i've got a thread in the planted section of more close ups of them unbagged. Thanks!

its realy taking shape now, the small plants on the left i had some sadly did not take, as for you r new plant sorry i have no idea

keep up the good work :good:

Can you take a closer snap of the red ones in the centre they look like Ludwigia Repens. The ones at the front in the first pic look like some sort of bolbitis.
