Well, he made it through the day!
He is laying on the bottom of his tank, but he has some color. Looks like he's going to be a deep red with some nice pretty green irridescent fins.

Pics coming in a few minutes if I can get my crazy laptop to connect.

Yay Sam! He sounds like he is going to look like my newest boy! If he pulls through to a full recovery, we will have to throw you a party, and call you 'the betta whisperer'

Well, okay - here's little Sam.
He looks odd from this angle, cuz the picture was taken from above. His tail is down, kind of resting in the rocks. The 2 fins you can see are his top and bottom ones. He's kinda laying on his side.

He's kinda starting to get some color to him.
I don't really wanna get my hopes up too much, but he seems to be hangin in there!

Maracyn 2, clean water and a couple drops of colloidal.

He doesn't look so bad in the photos, but he just lays there. I only see him move at all when I move his bowl and he has to flutter his fins a tad bit to keep upright. Most of the time he's just laying on his side. His head is resting on a plant right now, and his snout is touching the surface of the water all the time so he doesn't have to go anywhere for air. He's also got more color than he did. His fins were all the tan that his body is.

I'm so glad he's hanging in there!

Well, it's Tuesday morning.
He is alive, and he ate 4 bloodworms this morning!
He still can't move much - so I dangled them in front of him and he struggled to get over to them and it seemed really hard for him to move his head up and down to chew them, but he got them down.
