True, but I hate names that end in S (no offense to anybody!) I've always been weird about that I'm thinking of just going with Kelly Look at me hijack my very own thread!! Now that's somethin'!!

Ok, things have gone terribly in the CT tank thus far. Two days ago I noticed red spots on two or 3 fry heads. I removed two from the tank last night to avoid spreading whatever it is. I found the 3rd (who I couldn't find last night) dead in the tank this morning.

I'm not gonna panic. This happened wth my first spawn of orangies, I only had 3 fry from that spawn and two of them got the redhead, one died and I managed to save the other (who is now my beautiful boy ) so I'm keeping my hopes up, doing lots of water changes and addng lots of silver and minerals.

I've lost a few falx babies too.... for unknown reasons. I'm sure it's natural, but still is hard! This is my first spawn though, so that's probably why it upsets me so much! Anyways, sorry I almost went on a tangent, just wanted to let you know I understand how ya feel.

kelley-its a bacterial infection. ny goldfish has had it before and kanacyn treated it wonderfully.
i also believe wayne from waynethisandthat had the same thing happen to his fry and he also treated with kanacyn.

Thanks for the well wishes,guys So far so good. The two with the red spots are in a cup and I've been changing their water every couple of hours. The main tank had 3 water changes today No meds as of yet, nobody else in the tank has it but I'll keep using the silver and bettamax

On a positive note, I was just doing a wc and I saw my first CT come up and blow a bubble, their labyrinth organs have started developing They're now hanging out towards the top instead of the bottom.

No more red spots They've been gone for awhile now, since I first mentioned them.

Babies are almost a month old And doing great Their biggest worry is me with the syphon
