The parents are so beautiful! Those fry are going to be amazing! I can't wait till they are growin up and we can se pictures! Both those daddy's are amazing!

CT's have grown sooo much! Eating well, they were dying off during the first week or so, I think I lost around 10 of the weakest babies. Heart breaking but completely normal. There's a couple itty bitties but the others are quite meaty and big.
Deltas are 1 week old today No dying off as of yet, must be a healthy spawn, healthier than I anticipated thankfully. They started eating bbs a few days ago, earlier than I would have started them but since I have hatcheries going I might as well. I noticed a substantial boost in their growth right after feeding them the bbs, hmm.

Awesome, glad to hear they are doing well I never got my reds to spawn, so no new babies here. I will hopefully be coming home with new fish on the 26th, from our Betta Assoc. meeting/auction. I'm hoping to come home with a Steel pair to mix with my Turqs and possibly a red pair to try and mix with the reds I already have (parents and their young that are 1.5 months old now). They are all from very nice stock (the reds are from show winning lines), so now I just need to win the auctions, haha.

dont you just love success stories? well everything sounds great as usual wuv, i bet your the most seasoned breeder here so i never had a doubt as i entered this post. also to the singing post, i bet thats what makes them grow fast. well gl with these spawns and keep updating!!!

Still no cam, dammmmmit! But I'm fixing that this week, I ran into technical difficulties waiting for my brothers PC to be fixed, fortunately that's all behind us, he can download his little 'important pics' and hand the cam over to me
CT's are two weeks old! Yaaay, another milestone They look great, eating well, getting their dorsal and anal fins in today (sounds like they're coming in the mail 
) Since I only have experience breeding plakats, this is quite exciting for me watching crowntails develop. There are waaay more than I thought though (Julie's smartness strikes again!) Last night I counted almost 80. I poured clean water into the planted area and they came flocking out by the 10's.
Deltas are grand, very punky and more aware of ME than the CT's, I suppose that's because I'm the only face they've seen from day 1. I counted 35 of them last night.

Something about some art show he went to, he's an art junky You'd think I would finally break down and buy my own cam, I guess I'm broke because I spend all of my money on fish

Excellent reason to get my own cam!! I've actually begun constructing my own site for the future. Coming up with a name was tough and I'm still not sure if I like ittreefrog said:Just wait till your a big time breeder and you'll get an awesome camera to keep your stock shop page updated on your website lol

Hurrah! Yey for my smartness!! I'm very glad to hear I was right, 80 is awesome!! Now I won't feel so horrible when I steal a pair..... muahahaha.

LOL! I think there's something to the singing personally I've read that a LOT of breeders play Asian style music for their breeders, they believe it induces spawning
