Minnnt's South American Puffer Tank

Thanks everyone.

Tanksalot has kindly offered to send me some so i will let you know how i get on with it. :)

This is a stunning tank =D

May I ask...what are the plants in the above photos in the front..the little ones...^^^there lol

Pogostemon Helferi

Thankyou very much. Not quite as good (imo) as their original home, but hopefully it will be eventually. :)

May extend it to cover more towards the moss. Another 3 pots should do it don't you think?

I'd say so plus of your good with plants after a few months it will spread. Mine has runners with little plantlets everywhere.

Thanks mate... Will give it a go then. :)

Any other suggestions? looking for a little bit of help really... Kind of run out of idea's.

Gotta say I started following this for the puffers but soon realised it's an aquatic gardenning crash course. I love it, like I said keep up the amazing work :)

Where's the Limnophila going, back left? I'd think about something to go in far right in front of the Anubias (coffee?) and behind the Helferi, between the 2 bits of wood.
Something mid level to bridge the height difference. Not sure what though, i struggle with mid ground plants.Just a thought.

i'm really liking this Minnnt, a great balance between good fishkeeping and plant keeping...great photography as well.

I reckon once you have the helferi carpet and my stargrass up the back and maybe that hygro in it'll be perfect mate.

Blimey, really? I'm not feeling it atm. :( but more plants will be added over the next few days. If I can get the pogostemon going that will improve things I guess.

Nice ideas stu, will see if I can implement something. Balansae, undulatus, bullosa and petchii should do nicely. Also got a couple of anubias to add in, just need some nice wood to add it to.
