I edited the very first message and posted it there. I'm not quite ready to send yours out yet unless you're willing to take the chance that one of the females might become a male... We're sorta having issues with a few males having false ovipositors

No rush on the plakats. Sexing young plakats can be hard. I ordered 2 pairs of blue plakats from a very experienced breeder in florida recently. Everything looked fine when I received them: two males and two females. Within two weeks, one of the "females" began blowing a bubble nest. When I looked closer, the ovipositor disappeared, as the "female" was a male.

I'm trying to plan for when I need to set up my tank--I always get less done on my Saturdays than I should. I think I requested 6 females, for pets, preferrably assorted colors. Please remind me of when the girls will be ready to ship? And will shipping prices quoted be per fish or can you put more than one together? Thanks!

erm. nooo. then, Synirr would just be losing a ton of money. Think of it this way, you're saving a LOT on nice, healthy Plakats that could cost $20+ each along with shipping. It's very generous of her to be giving us her beautiful babies for nothing!

I'm actually paying for mine.. because I'd feel much too guilty just paying for shipping, when she has put so much money and time fourth to raise 200 healthy Bettas!

and, about the credit card thing ~ no, you can also send a money order.. I'm pretty sure.

Females will be ready to ship as soon as I'm sure they're actually females
I've had at least one male with a false ovipositor, so I'm trying to be careful picking out females, especially for people who want to keep them in a community tank. I'll PM you when I've got your girls ready
