Keith, Frank, the banded headstander, arulius barbs, bgk and the megalodoras cat are now all in the bigger of the 2 tanks now after a manic day changing my stock around.... thanks chris for ya help mate

Blimey! He's very much like a RTC!! He looks huge, but then when you see him in the same picture as Keith he's still a little smaller! Very decieving!

i would say that mouth to end of tail he must be about 11-12 inches now so very nearly as long as Keith. he is also getting very very chunky too. its such a shame that he cant stay this size or just a bit bigger as he is stunning now. the tiger stripes have just started to appear between the spots along his side. pic 2 shows these best.

Are you not tempted to get a large tank to keep him? 5000L should do lol ...

very tempted mate but dont have the room unfortunately... he will have to go to a more suitable home when he has outgrown this tank which was the plan from day one.

Shame really but I can understand. He is turning into a stunning fish. Have you thought about trying to get him in a public aquarium? I know the Blue Planet has a long list, but some of the smaller ones might be easier. That way you could visit him whenever you wanted :)

it is such a shame tbh but thats how it has to be. at least i can say that he has been cared for very well during his young days. if i can find a localish aquarium then that would be superb but living in Leicester there arent that many if any...... ill have to start looking soon though at this rate!

got a call from maidenhead aquatics yesterday saying that they have 3 plecos that need a new home and if i was interested.............

so just popped in today and came home with what i think is a calico common pleco. pics soon
