I'm thinking of popping into the new shop in Coventry, its meant to have an awesome marine department, anyone been yet?

Def a Marine LFS to Visit, they have a Very Good Selection + 98% of the shop is for Marine.

*ahem* I have a confession to make.

I just brought an orca TL450 nano tank I couldnt walk by & not get it, on ebay for just £51, with the stand & they have even upgraded the skimmer.

Woopdie woop woop!!!!

Hubby is going to pick it up for me in time for my birthday squeeeeeeeeeee! Going to try to get my live rock & RO Thursday & have a lovely time playing with my nano tank, what a brilliant birthday pressie.

Can you tell I am excited!!

This project hasnt been shelved, I will continue to buy bits as I can save for them & hopefully will have the tank running in under 6mths

Not alot going on today, I have moved the tank, again, I think its in the best place now.

Heater is in, but thats it, it looks very bare & sad, does anyone else get a little sad when looking at an empty fish tank?

I am going to order my background this afternoon, but I cant decide which colour, i'm going for plain, either black or dark blue? I'm thinking black would make a nice dramatic contrast with the colours of the coral eventually.

I am going to start a little journal for my Nano tank as well, very excited about that one, as it will be all up & running quickly.

Does anyone else dream about Marine stuff? Or am I abit odd? lol

i still dream about modifications on my tank.
some of teh better ideas have come when i'm asleep!

Starting to feel a little nervous about the little nano tank, I paid straight away by paypal last night & the payment was refunded saying cash on collection only, which I dont really mind, I do prefer paypal as you are covered if anything goes wrong, so I emailed back asking if Wednesday was ok for collection & saying I would bring cash, no reply.

I have emailed again this morning as hubby needs to sort his diary & still nothing, hopefully I will hear something soon, just a little nervous & trying not to get my hopes up in case it falls through.

I will go have a search for Barney's journal.

COC is often better, if it is not as described or there are any problems, you don't pay, so you will have only lost a trip to fetch it. Don't forget that people often work and don't always check their emails every hour or so, also ebay emails take a notoriously long time.

I'm such a muppet sometimes the piece I was looking at on ebay is black one side & blue the other, why was I trying to choose, when I get them both anyway

I just prefer paypal, have gotten used to it I guess, not really a fan of paying cash just in case, when ever I have brought something large that required collection i've had a pretty immediate response, I guess I've been lucky so far.

I'm sure all will be good, hopefully I will get a message tonight
