well i got my 5 bux back but its a long story abuot the actual store. the manager refused to admit it was infected (lol) and basically ridiculed me with 5 other employees that were at the desk. i got 0 help to find the ich treatment, and it ended up costing 20 cents more than what i got for the fish back. i got "mardel" biospheres, Maracide, for Ich, velvet, and other external parasites. indications- a spot on product that treats the fish not the water. biospheres technology transports the medication directly to the skin where it is needed. read the enclosed brochure before using. use of a hostpital tank is recommended. no water changes, pH or temp. adj. are necessary if readings are in ideal rang. maintain normal filtration and air. active ingredients- malachite, chitosan.
poured 2 capfulls as instructed, for 10 gallons... even though the cap was the kind you press to open.. im kind of suspicious whether the instruction are from an old bottle, nevertheless i followed as instructed. i passed by the tank and looked closely, and found many fish with the exact symptoms as the picture you posted, they were usually around the dorsal fin, and were round groups of many little white dots, as well as on their fins. i cant be too mad at the way they treated me, afterall he IS working at a petsupermarket. i will say, however, im not done with him. oh, the bottle said to treat on day 1, 3 and 5. should i do more? did i buy the right stofF? i didnt check the other fish for ich because i was in ahurry to get outta there before i broke his arm. it was very nervewracking controlling myself in front of all those employees. i did speak calmy though, its not like i warranted them for being that way. but theres never a reason for being unprofessional. thanks smb.
