I loathe ubuntu but sadly have it stuck on my old old laptop as the optical drive packed up and I can't be bothered to plug it into my desktop and get a better distro on there. I love maryan its my favourite linux distro since it was first released into beta (year and half agoish) I have been using it and its great. Recommend you try it E17 is definitely going to superceed gnome in the future

Did not know there was such programme.. "Ubuntu"...... it must have a South African connetation because "Ubuntu" is a Tswana (S.A. Black Tribe) language term meaning that "I look after my brother, and he looks after me".... UBUNTU!!!!.... (just for interest)
