I Almost Grew Two Feet

Will you carry on breeding clowns when the new tanks done?

Oh yes, of course. Although once I move them, they may not spawn again for a while, until they get comfortable.

Water stats today:
NH3- 1.5
NO2- 0.25
NO3- 0

Stats today tested as,

NH3- 0.25
NO2- 0.10
NO3- 20.0

Ammonia dropped a ton! I have since added 61ml more ammonia tonight and will test again in the morning.

Test last night:
NH3- 2.0
NO2- 0.25
NO3- 20.0

This morning:
NH3- 1.5
NO2- 0.40
NO3- 20-30?

The difference between the two tests is about 12 hours, and since the ammonia dropped by 0.5, it should be dropping 1.0ppm a day. I'll test tonight to confirm. If so, it's sure sped up!

Still cycling...

Ammonia was down to 0.25 a couple days ago, so I dosed more ammonia.
As of yesterday, the stats were:
NH3- 2.0
NO2- 1.0
NO3- 20... still?

I'll test again today once my classes are over.

Trying to catch my manager this week to see if we work something out about the laboute's and possibly rhomboid wrasse :hey:

Ammonia is now going down 3.0ppm every 12 hours. Getting close! Talked to my manager about the fairies, she's getting back to me this week about pricing :fun:

Nice choice on Wrasses`s Nemo have both in mine the Rhomboid shows his proper colours a lot more since adding the Labouti :)

Neither are cheap you are just like me with an expensive taste in fish :)

Just looked at the couple pictures you had of em, makes me want them more!
Can't decide between lineatus or rhomboid. I definitely want the laboute's.

Manager said she can get me the wrasses for 50% off retail, i'm perfectly OK with that

Nice deal on the discount :) the Lineatus is one of my other favorites what about a nice Cirrhilabrus jordani they are stunning as well

I also like the Cirrhilabrus bathyphilus but they are not very common in the UK.

I could double my tank size and still not have enough room for all the Wrasse I would add :)

Oops forgot to say I will try and get some decent photos over the weekend showing both of the Rhomboid and the Labouti in full colours :good:

Thanks Morri :good:

I was looking at the jordani too, but not too sure. Too hard to choose :(
I should just copy paste your stock list... you have nearly all the fish i want anyways :)

are Wrasse that gooda fish to keep? I;ve never considered them but then I;m a novice with marine fish species. can I keep one in a 20g and if so what would you recomend?

Fairy wrasses are adorable, very active and friendly fish; beautiful colors too!

Can't really do any in a 20G :( I think even a sixline would be pushing it and sixlines can be meanies. Wrasses need plenty of swimming space.

Have to agree with Nemo Wrasse are one of the most stunning collection of fish families you can keep but they do need a bit of swimming space the smallest wrasse I can think of would be a Flasher and they tend to need a good 2 ft if not 3 to dart around in there is an easy answer Simon BIGGER TANK :)

Nemo if your current tank is anything to go by this one will be a stunner :)

Have you thought about the NP Biopellets for this one ? I am running them on mine at the moment just got upto 1L, I cannot get a reading on my phosphate kit anymore and Nitrates are slowly coming down sat around 8 - 10 its a nice way of managing any nutrients and it adds good bacteria to the tank and for the corlas to feed on :good:
