How many pets do you have?

I have a 14 year old cat, whos name is "chancie" becuase we took a chanc eand got the skinniest cat in the litter. i got a neww golden lab/retrevier mix and his name is "creamer" because his beath smells like coffee! I also have two desert tortises, (Baby and chevy) Baby, because we got here from a breed er when she was a size of a quarter. Chevy because we found him half-eaten by a dog underneath an old chevy, and we resued him! I also have a snake(cpt. checkers), a 10 yr. old hermit crab(cheese) and my gecko(Gieko) hehe...well fish take up a majority of my animals!

TOBY - male border collie he is tri colour, he is 4 years old


MISTY - female border collie she is all black with a very little bit of white
on her belly, she is 3 years old

PUSSYWOO - silver taddy cat she is 12 years old


FELIX - brown and white tabby he is 6 years old


CASPER - budgerigar grey-blue he is 2 years old


PIKACHU - rabbit cream with brown feet, ears ,nose and tail and he has
red eyes he is about 10 months old

Horses 2
Pumper, a red lepord appaloosa age 15 16b hands tall
Whiskey, Bay standardbred 14.2 hands tall. My first horse age 35 and counting. I got him 21 years ago and he still is the best trail horse ever

Ferrets 4
Flash-came from a pet shop now age 5
ladybug-so named for a plague of them we had in out apt at the time we got her. age 6
Brody- age 6 given to me by a coworker who was moving
Scooter-spent 4 months in a pet shop and I just could not leave him there. Age 4

Dogs 2
Pippin 11 pound chihuahua mix was thrown out a car window when she was about 6 weeks old! She is trained in Sindarin (elvish) from the Lord of the Rings.
Cassidy-foster doggie I am taking care of her for a friend may become permamnent. She is an 11 pound Pommeranian. Looks like a fox. She is trained in Hebrew, and spent the summer in Israel with her owner.

Cats 2
Callie calico cat came from a shelter. Thinks Pippin is her child but is afraid of Cassidy
Precious-was going to be put to sleep so I took her. A georgous white persian with green eyes. Very shy but sweet.

I have 3 guinea pigs, Colin, Oscar and Monty.

I was at the pet shop the other day and saw one who was so utterly gorgeous and totally caught my eye. I hope that I might be able to get him at some point.

i have a 1 year old German Shepard named Leo. His birthday is the 4th of July. He is one big kid. Very gentle giant. he weighs about 90lbs now. He great with my 3 kids who are 11 yrs, 8 yrs, and 4 yrs. He isn't trained very well. He can sit and lay but that about it. Oh yeah, is is housebroken. He is very protective of the family and a good judge of character. Sorry couldn't get picture to post. but he is black silver and brown.

Well, we have four. Very impressed by the way with the menageries some of you have. You must hold down 3 jobs to feed them all! Vacuum salesmen must love you! (All that pet fur and feathers!)

SHADOW-13 yr old lab/border collie/husky cross. A black lady with the most soulful eyes and very sensitive. Even if I whisper the "f" word she goes and hides! (yes,I try not to say it but occasionally I slip up) She's the best trained dog we've ever had.

TIGGER-15 year old long hair black and gold tabby, he rules the house and drools on me when I make a fuss of him. Have to wear a bib to pet the cat!

PRINCESS- 13 year old tubby black shorthair with white on her chin and tummy. She was the runt of a litter in a pet store, buy $20 of cat food get a free kitten.
One winter it was too cold to go out and she grew sideways instead of longer, so she looks permanently pregnant but isn't. Very muscular fit cat.

BELLE-cost me $115 from the vet's...some orphan! You have to pay all future spaying and needles up front around here. OWCH. Next time it's something cheap like another fish. She is the CLUTZIEST cat I have ever seen, she knocks over everything, misses her jumps up onto things and falls, lays on my mouse and keyboard when I'm here and stops everything, is a royal pain and sheds up a storm on anything she lays on. Oh she's a black and gold shorthair tabby with peach patches, 7 years old and not getting ANY wiser or more graceful.

We have colour coordinated pets. One dog and one cat are black with white underneath and two cats are black and gold tabbies. Not planned. My house is anything BUT colour coordinated!

As an aside, it's amazing the number of people who have single rats, I'm not having a go since it's petshops that are generally to blame for misinforming people but rats shouldn't be kept singly, they are very sociable animals and should be kept in pairs, sorry I'll get off my soapbox now...

A two Year old Jack Russell called Molly

A four year old black and white cat named Charlie

Two three year old rabbits.

Unfortunately, molly is totally deaf, which means that it can be difficult to control her sometimes. For example, she can run off outside when i'm answering the door, and then I have to chase her down the street.
