So, who here believes that there could be a life form (intelligent, plant, or animal) living on another planet.
With way over a million other planets in the universe and new ones still being found, I personally believe it is absolutely possible for some sort of life form to live out there. One form of microscopic life from earth has already been found to survive in the vacuum of space which shows that life is possible, even in the most deadly of places.
What do you believe? Are we all alone in this universe or are there other entities whether that may be plants or animals, intelligent or non-intelligent?

Edit: I would like to give credit to @JuiceBox52 for recommending me to start a thread on this. If she hadnt mentioned it I probably wouldnt have thought of it or this would have been posted sometime in the future.
Thanks Juice!

I do...! She lives next to me... She's a loud alien... She yells all the time... Even the government is scared of her... We live the X-files... Please, help!

Energy is everywhere in the universe, energy is life.
Eh no... As deep as that sounds its not true. Electricity is energy and there are thunderstorms recorded on planets but that is not counted as life.

I do like your thought on it though!

I suppose the mods have been relaxing too much as of late.
Heating up the oil ...

I have a little guppy that I used to call Alien
he is a wild-type lyretail with neon bright colors that came from a line of "fancy red mosaic dumbo guppies"

You can believe whatever you want but that don't make it so. NASA type characters have been sending probes into deep space and to asteroids for decades now and they're coming up with nothing. Nothing at all . If by some chance there is life , so what ? Who's going there and when ?

we dont search well enough. The probes send out radio signals. they dont turn over every rock in the universe to find a bug

Considering there are billions of stars in our galaxy, and there are trillions of galaxies in our universe, and each star can potentially have planets around it, the odds of other planets having life is quite high.

On top of that, the basic building blocks of life are found throughout the universe so that adds to the possibility.

There are water planets near suns and they are in the Goldilocks' zone (not too hot, not too cold). These would be prime locations for life to begin. Water is found everywhere in the universe and if you have volcanic vents underwater, there will be life there, much like there is at the bottom of our oceans.

There are plenty of bacteria that can survive space travel on rocks and also survive the heat when the rocks enters an atmosphere and heats up.

NASA has been hanging with ET since the 50s. I'm not human and Men in Black is real. So yeah, there's life out there. Unfortunately none of you are likely to meet it due to wiping out this planet, and the universe continuing to expand. The longer it takes to get into space, the further away the other stars and galaxies get, so you will need to be able to fold space or create wormholes.
