hi millie ,dony know how to sex them(new to this)but the males do lol (god shes so big)hope she has them soon/bless

i had 6 - was pretty sure i could tell about 1 of them! but they all went up the filter
they are nice little fish
im going for guppies next time i think.... or other sort of livebearer.....

Danios aren't livebearers, they don't give birth. If the females are a little fat, they might be carrying eggs. Mine occasionally will spawn (you'll see females racing around the tank with several males right behind them spraying eggs all over the place). I've had females carry eggs for months and never spawn, it doesn't seem to do them any harm.
If she's fat like a pregnant guppy, though, I'd be worried it's swelling of some type, as they don't get nearly as fat as livebearers.
