How Fast Do Common Plecs Grow?

i was sold a common pleco under the pretence that it would be fine in my 180L tank. how stupid i was to believe them and not do my homework before hand!

so Mr Monster-fish (as my son so lovingly named him) is about 2 inches long right now.

how fast do they grow? im sure someone on here said an inch a month???

any idea how old my pleco is at this side?

and how long until he needs a bigger home - and ideally what size aquarium am i looking at?

mine did an inch a month up to about 8 inches, slowed down after that.

to keep for life i would say a minimum of 4x2x2 (feet)

oh so i dont need a much bigger tank, ok thats do-able, ive been looking at a 150 cm length one (nearly 5 foot) on kapaza, bit of a bargin!
