We'll the fry are out with Mum and Dad and I managed to get a pic of them. Not a great one as the lights are not due on in the tank for a few hours yet, but I needed to post something right

I am guessing there are way in excess of 50 there right now, early days though...for HRP that is a big batch think

Oh and Dad goes crazy whenever I get fairly close, doing his jig thing...I am very happy for them...just what to do with all this fry when it gets a little bigger now...I can only hope that Dad doesn't get greedy later on as they have no where else to go.

Thanks guys, I'm well chuffed...I now don't just have one son, I have about 25 new granddaughters and 25 new grandsons too

I still can't get over just how ferocious the male HRP is when ever I get little too close, I am sure now if I put my hand in that I'd get attacked!

Good call, if I get 5 minutes rest from work emails I will video it!

Not sure if my HRP would really hurt if it bit me, but it would freak me out regardless

Credit has to go to Mum and Dad really, I just gave the married couple a house to live in, the rest was pretty much down to them

I'm starting to think that too, they're getting more confident and moving further away from their parents, before they were keeping bunch together and looked like a lot less...I am wondering is there were 2 spawns because of the time it took for come out of the pot...but can't see any real size differences between them

I did try to get him giving me agro but didn't push it too much, he seems so proud just hanging with his kids He didn't like my son taking a look when he got home from school, the purple school jumper wasn't recognised at all and he started doing his jiggy thing!

As they grow there will be different sized ones, the strongest grow the fastest, I still have a few of the convicts left, one is still really really tiny.
