You know, if I thought there was a way, I'd give one a home. I'm not in bettas right now as have adopted out the last of them - not a fan of feeding the big business that thinks that selling those lives in a cup of water is ok... but yours are lovely AND loved. I'd be proud to have one.
Mesome~ I plan on selling those that I don't keep my lfs and I have worked out a deal so that I can display my bettas there but yet have full control over thier well being/care/display/pricing (I'd also like to run background checks on all perspective buyers but my lfs thinks that would be a bit much )
Could he be any more gorgeous? Not possible. I am so in awe, you have no idea. I just can't stand his colors and his fins and and and. Wow Kelly, you have got one amazing fish. I can only hope that one of my babies looks half that good!
Update on the little removed pesk from yesterday, after a night of pouting in his little 1 gallon KK,he now jumps up and begs when he see's me the way his two older siblings do. He caught on quick enough Unfortunately his 'kitchen counter spoiled brat' days will be over soon enough, for he will be venturing back to the new fish room with the rest ASAP 8)
It's in the works, I'll take step by step photos as I redecorate. First I have to rob Tuesday blind of all of her toys J/K (kinda!), I swear she has so much stuff, she'll never even notice. I can't even think of the last time she played in that room
I went and got the shelves that I told you about, turns out that they're better than I expected! I'll easily be able to house 4 4 foot long tanks on the 4 bottom shelves (or middle ,still deciding) and I'll put my Jebo 5's on there somewhere, plus all the seperated babies.
Then I can set up the 55 with 2 10's on the bottom rack of the stand (first I have to convince hubby that the iron stand is not a death trap ) Then I can finally get some more spawns going. I've been putting it off so that they're not scattered all around the house, I'd like to keep them all confined to one area (most of them anyway!)
Awww!!! Look at em!!! I'm so proud. You should be too, you raised all those suckers all the way to 50-gallon-dom!! I'm actually kind of surprised - I thought the tank would look a lot more empty, but they fill it up quite a bit! Big kiddos!!
