I got my lonely female a boyfriend and they are happily digging up the whole tank but I think he is either to young or infertile as my girl is a proven breeder with her former bo who turned on her.
They are a cute couple

yes- thanks! I've read they are prolific breeders and my experience with them thusfar bears that out, so I imagine it won't be too long before yours are getting down to business.

Yeah, they have only been a couple for a couple months.
It is fine if they dont breed, her spawns were HUGE, 100 babies each. Never got a full count.
Such great parents and am so glad I got to experience it.
They have always been alone so I got to watch them *walking* their brood, picking up strays and spitting them into the group.
Amazing parents
