From 48 To 180 In 3.0 Seconds Flat

 Self medicate with a cocktail! There are lots of nice grassy plants. I am trying out Cyperus helferi which is supposed to get nice and tall. It's growing slow right now though.

Try easy carbo! It's tizers fault, and I touched my eye after cutting a jalapeno so I'm off to rinse it out.

lol great idea FF, I usually have an amaretto but I'm all out, guess I've been mediating too much!

Thanks for the suggestion I wonder if the c balanse would work too...I'm going to give the easycarbo a go for now, maybe they have it in stock at MA

Does anyone want nearly 500ml of FE?

That's right. Then one day you to; can have multiple tanks; that you get in & out of the loft at regular intervals,

This topic to me has gone from a convo with a blonde adult actress (not saying they're dumb, just a figure of speech :hey: ) to a convo with steven hawkings .
Guess it's time for me to learn about plant fertilizers? :-(

I've never seen easycarbo in MA emily, if they don't answer you back on facebook i'll have a look if i'm up there before you :good:

Thanks bud because I'm not going to get up there until next week sometime :/

And yeah, I like to keep you all on your toes :p

Hello kids, well it was a weekend packed with debauchery for me and I'm still feeling the effects  - so I'm just hiding behind my screen at work hoping no one notices I'm here.

Really pleased to say that all tank inhabitants are doing well. Bruce, the giant ram, has decided there's more to the world than the back corner of the tank so I'm seeing quite a lot of him now :) Corys and rasboras are all happy too! The last I saw of Zod he was the size of a house :/ I have such a hard time feeding frozen foods in this tank. My corys, rams & BNs are quite slow eaters so when the food hits the bottom Zod is there rapidly hoovering it all up. I guess I should just feed less on a frozen food day but I don't want for anyone to miss out!

One of my BNs is looking nice and chunky and I think I can see the beginnings of some bristles! Yay!

Also I have completely stopped adding the Flourish Excel or any other liquid carbon. I've had a massive vallis melt but I think I'm coming to the end of it (fingers crossed) and there is still plenty left. Oh well, ya live n learn right? There is no trace of staghorn left in the tank which is nice!

Sounds like a good update, lots of happy fish :) Shame the owner isn't happy, but that teaches you. Stay at home and spend time with us instead of socialising. Pah, who socialises nowadays?

lol I never learn

I did tank maintenance today and did a lot of vallis trimming, I reckon I've lost about 1/2 so far, boooo. I also cut off a lot of ugly crypt leaves from when I first got them. The few that didn't melt or that grew back first were all ugly looking but I didn't want to cut them off because I didn't have much going on in the way of plants but the crypts are looking good now :)

Also the e. quadricostatus has FINALLY taken hold and is growing new leaves, I thought it would never happen, fingers crossed it'll start spreading soon. Everyone keeps telling me this stuff spreads like mad so I've been waiting with anticipation lol.
