Found A Forum Using Tff Profiles

And it isn't just the profiles. So it looks like they will get away with using other peoples information?
 
What the H*** is this world comming to?
Shame on the theifs over there, yes theifs because that is what they are. I really hope that Invison do the right thing and revoke their forum.

i explained to the wolf that the profiles were got from another forum that had taken them from here. you should remember that another forum had be caught a few weeks back.

also he has excepted my appology and we are currently removing them all. i posted a public appology in the newbies.
 
In my opinion, it is just a member from this forum, who decided to make his own forum, and because he wanted to make it look all professional and that there are knowladgable members there he/she took our profiles to make an image

we can either be
a)angry and cause a ruckus, which wont get us anywhere cause this forum is very small and looks like it has just started out, and is not exactly a "threat"
or
B) be flattered and ignore them, and go on helping members/asking questions and posting our own profiles on TFF

my two cents

i choose to be apart of b :)

Your trying to shift the blame from you by involving other forums Aquaman/Aquaman1/Memphis (or whatever you call yourself these days), you should point out to the good members of TFF that it was YOU that actually took ALL the profiles from TFF & posted them onto Fish-Keeper.Com when you was an admin there, When the other admins at Fish-Keeper.Com found out what you had done you got banned & all profiles were removed, You then opened a new forum & took the SAME profiles from TFF & posted them on your new forum thinking you would never be caught, you even said it yourself on your forum "TFF can't do fu*k all lol". how the hell can you shift the blame? :grr:

And its not just the profiles now is it! :grr:
 
Thats weired i have just gone to that link and when i tried to join to see what it was about it said i am already a member :blink:.I have never joined that forum in the past :unsure: :unsure:
 
I have just reported it to thier hosts UKHost4u.com, They will obviously need more than one complaint to take any action so i urge anyone here that is annoyed about aqua-forums actions please report their site using the link below;

How very hostile some of the members on this forum are that they need to start pointless sqobbles about things that are going to be the same information regardless as most of the information is copyed in the first place from books and other websites.
Funny thing I see is its the same few members on all the argumentative threads, preaching!
This has got to be one of the only fish forums on the net that doesnt affiliate with other forums. Surely the idea is all about pooling information and sharing experiances? So why does it matter if its done under the heading of TFF or Aquaforums or fishplace or anyother fish related forum?
And to answer all of you saying why am I here? Well thats so I can share my experiances and learn from some of the members here that are here to talk fish, not think its some kind of religious cult forum!


EDIT: And maybe someone can tell me why 1 member in particular is using pictures of my fish in their signiture? Ive never said they could, and never posted the pic on here to loss any rights to copy right!
So thats the same thing your all saying regarding this other forum.

I disagree, You seem to be forgetting that it is not other forums that have the right to use other peoples own work, All the hard work TFF members have put into making these profiles then someone decides to copy them word for word without asking the members that created them or asking the forum as a whole first :grr:

I disagree. I put a lot of time and effort into the profiles I made and didn't just churn them out in the blink of an eye. I'm not a member of the other forum and therefore wish for my profiles not to be there.

39 members or 3million 900 hundred members: I don't care. It's the principal of theft and deceit that matters.
