as much as i want to believe the loch-ness exists, there're are many other explainations which are against that believe. the loch-ness could very well be just a rarer species of fish or maybe mammal. take for instance oarfishes, or larger eels.

or elephants......................................................

no (in my opinion) how would it eat for it to survive it would need bucket loads of food.
just because an animal is big, doesn't mean that its food needs to be big too.
take the basking shark or whale shark both eats plankton and both reache massive sizes on that diet.

while those are two very large animals that subsist off of eating very small things, they still eat tons and tons of food.

The sonar evidence quoted by Campbell (see above post) seems to show that there are shoals of fish in the lake. What there is NOT is any reliable evidence of sightings that cannot be explained as either hoaxes or perfectly ordinary natural phenomena (see above).

It is a legend a myth a whatever and boy does it get people going.

It makes millions and causes many a row.

I dont know really but would rather see money from it going to good cause.

it does go to a good cause.
it keeps the local people employed and the Scottish Tourist Board gets it's share too
enabling them to further the promote the tourist trade to Scotland around the world.

ive been many times to the highland games on the ness seen some monsterous men chucking logs around and squeezing cats but nothing in the waters

I don't believe there is a loch ness monster.
They even did a scan of the river and there was nothing there.

I would laff it there was a dead elephant ant the bottom of one of these caves lol

i believe the theory that nessy is now extinct, that is why no search of the lake has found him or will ever find him, most of the sightings were years ago. Also sightings of him were made on land by the lake, this is probably because of no food in the the lake he hunted on land (thats probably where the red squirrels went lol  ) also he could have been a plant eater. Nessy was probably around long before the sightings of him made the lake famous and died soon after.
I know, i know, no proof but it seems obvious to me.
