Fish Herder
always say hello when i come home ...........bye when i go out & night night when the moonlights go off!!!
I must confess to saying "Hello Fishies" every time I go to have a look in the tank or to feed them!
If I were an eligible female (married 17 years) and I saw you talking to your fish I'd know you were a wonderful person, because you care so much about even the small creatures of the world. Don't be embarrassed and don't stay with someone that thinks your talking to your fish is weird!

I'm at least moderately fond of my husband , and he thinks I'm a total wierdo for talking to my fish... ) ... to be fair, even I think me talking to my fish is wierd....
I talk to my fish more than i talk to my hubby lol. Fish dont argue back. They are grateful when you give them their dinner. O.k so i cant cook , not the end of the world lol.I just got back from school and said to my bettas: 'Now, my mum and Morgan are going out to the doctors' now, but I'll be upstairs.'
Hang on.... I told my bettas that my mum and sister were going to the doctors?
Now that I come to think about it I tell them lots of things, like, 'I'm going to a party now boys, be back soon!' And, 'Water change tonight guys!'
Does anyone else talk to their fish?
We talk to most of our fish but mostly Martha.
Martha now recognises some words and actually reponds to them.
If she's resting on the bottom and I say "Martha, Prawn!" she will come to the surface in anticipation of being fed.
Also if she's resting and we call her name she will come to the glass and wave her fins like a puppy wagging its tail.
"Night night Martha" will almost always result in her burying herself ready for lights out.
Martha is the best fish EVER!
