lol well hopefully that never happens. so far it hasnt come back. i'd be pretty mad if it came back lol.

Update:

installed a prefilter/overflow box thingy for the remora pro, so finally no more bubbles all over my tank! but i have to stress about my water level bigtime now, that stupid box doesnt move up and down with the water level, so if my water level drops to much, my mag 3 will probably burn out.

drill a hole in the bottom of the box? Or like the bottom sides?

well if i drilled a hole then the skimmer would no longer take the water from the surface as much. thats what the box is intended for.

Your tank looks exactly how I want mine to look, I gotta catch up to ya Didnt you upgrade to 55 from a 30 as well? After christmas we gotta see who can overstock with corals first

dunno what other corals to get tho, not really much room unless i wanna stack them next to each other....ok ok your right i'll find room somehow lol

no didnt take any pics. just pretend like your nose is VERY VERY stuffed up. like to the point that you cant breath outta either of them. then you have a huge sneeze and everything comes out and its just hanging there in a huge clear booger..lol that's what this thing did to me.


ok well i decided to do a little project. it turned out ok i guess...but after i got done i thought of a better way to do it...so i guess it stays like this until they fall off lol.

well i've been looking for red moon lights...no one seems to have them cept for this one brand and it costs 60 bucks for 2 leds....lol no thx.

so i went to walmart and in the xmas spirit i bought 2 3 foot leds (10 bulbs each). i taped them on the back of my light. here are the pics...dont laugh, very ghetto i know, but you cant see the back of the light anyways lol. the dark picture came out blurry cause i suck at keeping still on slow shutter speed. light were about 2 dollars each. they use 3 AA batteries. so total cost was about 6 dollars

I was going to do something similar, I was going to do the same thing only rather than taping, super glue, and then getting a small piece of acrylic to run the width of the lighting fixture to glue over the lights, so the lights are concealed and pretty much become one with the entire fixture. Looks really good though!

yea there's a little space int he center of my light between my reflectors and i should have stuck them there. but if the tape holds then i'll be happy, if not then i'll just put then between my reflectors

ok went to my LFS today, they had a 40% off everything sale....lol so why not?

Red Gonipora, lady said its an SPS and not a flowerpot. talked to her about it and she said it's not difficult to keep and its pretty peaceful...anyone know exactly what kind this is so i can pull up a good info page on it?:
