Cory Spawn

Well, the fry are growing really well since my last vid, so heres another one of them just under 3 weeks old:

Big fatty orange bellies full of brine shrimp eggs :)

I've also put in about 50 tiny tiny golden apple snails that hatched out the other day. Will help me keeping the filter cycled after i move the fry.

Also got about 100 cory eggs in a pot ready to hatch out in a few days :)

They look just wonderful! I'm still waiting for my first eggs from any of the cories. I moved a ceramic piece from the tank today and found some eggs but I have no idea what they are. Netted them and have them at the filter output for circulation. I guess I'll see what they are soon!

Is this topic pinned? I think it's got lots of useful information that I'll turn to when the time comes for my first batch.

I took another 100+ eggs off the glass tonight :/ Just in time before new tank tomorrow :D

So let me ask you, how long have you had your cories? Any special things you're doing to help them spawn? Cool water changes?

Goodness me Tizer :hyper: i haven't checked this since you collected the eggs and boy is there tonnes or what, can't wait to see them grow!

about 5 months i would guess, i do a water change every weekend, usually around 40% of the tank, cold water does go in, i dont bother temp matching. I dont think i really need to try with these bronze guys, it just happens every 3 weeks or so.

new tank in! :D the pic makes it look quite small, but its er, quite big

Moving them into my 90 litre tonight once i've got the tigers out and into the main tank. Just about ready to move them onto Tetra Prima now :) Will do another vid when i get a chance tonight :D

I love that new tank! Your babies are getting so big, they are so adorable.
