New Corys For Me

I just want to point out that Dan's fish charges $500 for each cw111 and you got 8 for $500 ?

I put 9 of them into the tank Tuesday morning. My guy had segregated 10 for me in a rimless tanks and when whe went to bag them the could only find 9. he assumed one jumped. he will bring another one when je comes for the balance of the pelcos in about 2 weeks. I have pics but they were shot holding the camera down and pointed tpards the tank which is about 10 inches above the floor.

Here is the tank:

They are all active and seem to be in good shape. Today when I went to check on them I notice the digital heater controller said 24C. It is supposed to have the tank at 26C. It turns out the heater was broken. So I exchanged it. I just went to see how the tank was doing and it was still 24C. To get the heater to turn on I had to set it for 30C.

So I have put in another 200w heater. I had been using AquaTops but now I have a Marineland heater getting temp adjusted for a bit before I plug it in. I have a box with about 15 used heaters in it. They came out of tanks I have taken down. They range from 502w to 400w with most om the 200 range.

The controllers I use are the Azoo Micro Temperature LCD COntroller 1000W - Celsius. The are very simple and easy to use and now hard to find and over priced. I have paid as little as $12 each on clearance and now $52. I tried and Inkbird and sent it back. Too many settings on it and too much work for me. I like simple and easy. I am actually willing to pay more for less if it is less complicated. I had a dozen of the controllers, but I sold 5 used to a pleco buyer.

One can attach up to 3 heaters to it as long as they do not have combined total greater than 1,000w.
