I need prayers, please. So many people are suffering with mental issues as a result of the Pandemic. It has now hit my family hard. Not the virus, but the anxiety and depression. Two of my family members are suffering terribly with severe panic attacks. One has now slipped into a major depression also and no longer “wants to be here”. I am scared to death. The one with only panic has started medication and we are hoping it helps before he slips further in. The other one has started therapy but can’t get into a psychiatrist for medication until Oct, 22nd. She is the one that no longer wants to be here. I’m not sure she can hold on that long. These are both healthy, young adults that have never had issues before. They both have small children that need them. I beg of everyone to pray for my family members and ask God to heal them. They are suffering so and it is breaking my heart. I am helpless to help them. My knees hurt from praying. If you will, please help me lift them in prayer. May God bless you and your families and protect you from this evil pandemic that is ruining people’s lives.

Let's hope it stays that way but I doubt it. The young have had a few weeks to pass it on to the old. The hospitals are already full/ filling up hence the reopening of Nightingale hospitals today. The only hope is that we have better treatments for the most serious cases this time around.

The policy just doesn't make sense, close all pubs but restraurants can stay opened?

Exactly. People are acting as if COVID is the Flu , Ebola, or the Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever (CCHF). Its really not that bad, compared to COVID. I mean, look at the death toll...

Not necessarily, they are transmitted identically. Not to mention Covid-19 doesn't have a vaccine, whereas Influenza has multiple for different strains. Symptoms of Covid-19 can be very hard to detect, thus making it easier to spread (not saying its more contagious, saying it can be much harder to track).

I meant compare it to the other great virus's that have racked the world. Compared to all of those, this is one of the lowest* I believe.

I was referring to this post where Jonny says that we don't have lockdowns for the flu, and just by the way he says it I assumed we were referring to modern day flu.
