Here in Washington we are running out of elastic to make mask with it's good that people are making mask but we need more elastic to make more!

My wife told me the same thing this morning so she and her cousin have put mask making on hold until we can find more.

I have lots of wide elastic bands that sometimes comes with my mail to keep envelopes grouped together to make delivery easier for the mailman. And I have a nice high thread count torn sheet. If I need to, I would just cut the sheets to a proper size and staple the elastic band to the cut up sheet. In a pinch that would work. I would use a paper clip around the nose area.

I went to the super market today and they only had one door open for people to come in and go out. It was CRAZY.

There is a new rule at my Walmart apparently, “Only 1 egg carton per person” I didn’t see the sign and tried to buy 2. The lady just looked at me like, “Ahaha, nooo”. She probably thought that I was trying to take 2.

only one carton per person? What if you head of a large household of 6 people and you are doing the shopping. That would only supply the family with 2 eggs each....enough for maybe one day.

I know! You can go to goodwill and buy all the used panties and cut out the elastic. Eewww!

If it really came to it, we could each just go in and buy 6 a piece, lol. They would never know! I think they made that rule so people wouldn’t stockpile. (It’s not working...)

Are you kidding? Farmers are making big $$$$ right now! Everyone wants to buy milk, eggs, cheese, etc. Where else do you think it’s going?

Lol I work on a dairy farm a d have friends who own multiple farms with chickens and cattle. There is a huge amount being wasted right now due to the restrictions being put on shoppers.

That actually surprises me more than you would know. Why would there be stuff going to waste, if I can't even find a gallon of milk at Walmart?
