And some of the older prisoners, with life time sentences might have caught the virus on purpose. Its just a theory, but it makes sense.

Because if they catch it, and they are old, it will most likely kill them. Now they can die quickly instead of just having to spend the rest of their life in a cell.

Its not a theory its real. It happen to my country about weeks ago

Were making masks too! And some friends as well have already made over 150 stupid that the hospitals around here are firing people on the spot for bringing their own....

What did you use for material? I have ONE N95 mask and a gas mask. I believe with the little I go out, that should suffice. I have a high thread count bed sheet that is torn and can be used for any additional masks should the need arise. I also have a couple of scarves.

Just double layers of plain cotton fabric is good or you can use 1 layer of cotton with 1 layer of vaccum bag fabric

I mean if you don't have anything else it would still stop some particles from entering and thus lowering the viral load you are exposed to

I find it hard to believe a wash will get all contaminants out?

I am struggling to find figures for when the rate of infection eases off in the UK, I might be able to get a few months off work based on the fact I live with 3 high risk people. Any ideas?

The mask are designed to help keep people from spreading the disease not so much from catching the disease. To protect you from getting the disease you would need to wear a biological gas mask. Like a m17a1

I do not know anyone with it, but there are people in my city with it. My state (Illinois) has 6,000 cases or so. We are on a shelter in place order until the end of the month and I am working from home.

I am personally am mildly concerned about it. I have a lot of at risk people in my family, but I have placed those worries and cares on to God. Wash your hands, take care of your friends and family, and ride the storm out.
